A tensile fabric canopy from Aura makes an ideal sun shade structure. The highly attractive designs are created using an architectural fabric that is 100% UV proof which means that you can be confident in knowing that you are protected from the harmful rays of the sun. The fabric is however highly light transmitting, allowing you to read comfortably beneath the sun shade or enjoy artworks, crafts or any other activity you might chose. You will also be able to enjoy a cooler shaded space compared with other materials such as polycarbonate (we’ve all heard of the overheated conservatory) because the architectural fabrics we use reflect a high percentage of the solar heat (RS value), for example our most commonly used fabric has a RS value of 76%.
Of course the UK weather is somewhat changeable so our tensile fabric sun shade canopies are engineered to withstand a minimum of 120km/h wind speed and 10cm of snow. The fabric is also waterproof.

Dirt and dust ingress into the fabric is prevented by a specialist coating (a type of Teflon coating) so it only needs an occasional wash and won’t get grimy or mouldy.
